Chloe's Top 20 DVDs

My kids love watching DVDs. Many of which are mine that they've commandeered and made their own (you can tell by the amount of tiny fingerprints all over the face of the DVD). I thought it would be fun for them to pick out their top 20 favorite DVDs and document their movie tastes as of the beginning of 2011.

Below are Chloe's picks in no particular order (it was hard enough for her to pick 20 let alone put them in an order)...

Home Alone (1990)

Up (2009)
We just watched this again yesterday. That silent time passage sequence in the beginning gets me every time.

Godzilla's Revenge (1969)
Chloe likes all the Godzilla movies but this is the one she asks for most. She likes the little boy.

The Muppet Movie (1979)

Follow That Bird (1985)

Pufnstuf (The Movie) (1970)
I'm not sure why they even made a Pufnstuf movie? It's basically just a long episode of the show. Except Mama Cass plays a witch.

H.R. Pufnstuf (TV show) (1969)
"Mechanical Boy" is a favorite.

The Brady Bunch (TV show) (1969-1974)
Chloe's favorite episodes are when the Brady's go to Hawaii.

Spy Kids (2001)

Spy Kids 2: The Island Of Lost Dreams (2002)

Pete's Dragon (1977)

Curious George (The Movie) (2006)

Return From Witch Mountain (1978)

Freaky Friday (1976)
This is the DVD that probably gets asked for most. And I'll watch it with her every time with no complaints.

Grease (1978)
This was a favorite of mine too as a kid. Luckily all the innuendo is over her head. It's really a filthy movie.

Elf (2003)
Doesn't matter what time of the year it is.

Land Of The Lost (TV show) (1974-1977)
I first introduced this series (my favorite show as a kid) to Casey. He enjoys them but Chloe is the one that latched on to it and watches them all the time. She even likes season three when the dad is replaced with Uncle Jack. Her favorite episodes are the one's that center around Chaka and Dopey the dinosaur.

Mary Poppins (1964)

Sesame Street: Old School (1969 - 1974)
After introducing the Sesame Street Old School episodes to my kids, they both never wanted to watch the new episodes of Sesame Street again. They don't make them like they used to.

Yo Gabba Gabba!: New Friends! (2010)
Chloe loves Jack Black! This is the only episode of Yo Gabba Gabba she'll watch.
